Field of depht - Photographers - Man Ray

Man Ray probably isn't the best excample for demonstrating the technique of depht of field in photography. But we want to start with the basics of photography, right? Then there is no way to not talk about Man Ray. Born as Emmanuel Rudnitzky, 1890 - 1976,  a son of hard working jewish-russish immigrants, he is probably one of the most influetial photographer of our times.

Starting as a painter early 20th century he fould himself attracted to the works of the new and exciting Dadaists. Experimenting with light sensitive Paper he created his rayographics, taking photographs without using a camera.

Over the years he turned his art completely to photography inspiring generations with his versatile, modern, fresh and mysterious photographs. They have become a part of public visual memory and probably everyone has seen at least one of his iconic photographs or knows of photographs inspired by him.
